Shared bikes

Modal shift

Getting from the train station, car park or mobility hub to your final destination is not always easy. And that can make the car feel like the simplest option. Shared bikes can help bridge that gap.

Brussels Airport and the Province of Flemish Brabant tested a shared bike network to make short trips across the airport site easier. With 50 bikes at nine locations, employees and visitors could move between the train station, car parks, offices, workplaces and mobility hubs. By making the last kilometres easier, shared bikes help connect different transport modes and make car-free journeys more practical.
