Intelligent Terminal Command Centre
Terminal Interventions
What if a terminal could tell you when it was too warm, too busy or using more energy than necessary? The Intelligent Terminal Command Centre (ITCC) uses live data to help operators make smart decisions.
Conditions inside a terminal are constantly changing. Passenger flows change, temperatures fluctuate and the weather outside affects what happens inside.
Developed by IES and tested at Brussels Airport’s Connector Building, one of the airport’s busiest areas, the ITCC brings all this information together in real time. It allows heating, ventilation and cooling systems to respond more precisely to what the terminal actually needs. The result? A more comfortable terminal for passengers and staff, with less energy wasted.
