The fastest route is not always the best one. The Journey Planner helps compare airport travel options by CO2 impact, cost and convenience.
Developed by digital services company Sopra Steria and Brussels Airport, the Journey Planner was designed as a multimodal journey planning tool. After entering a starting point and destination, travellers receive door-to-door travel options that can combine public transport, bicycles, shared mobility and private vehicles. The tool also takes luggage into account, making the suggested routes practical and relevant.
By showing travel time, cost and CO₂ emissions side by side, the Journey Planner makes the impact of each option more visible. Instead of guessing what option best fits their journey, travellers can make an informed choice.
