General Assembly and Third Anniversary

General Assembly at Brussels Airport

On October 15th we held our General Assembly at Brussels Airport, on the occasion of our third anniversary.

As 2024 is the year of the acceleration, we chose to focus on our many shared achievements and objectives.

Since the last General Assembly, we have seen many innovations come to life:

• Biodiesel-powered TaxiBot made its appearance on the tarmac for tests with TUI;
• Hydrogen-powered equipment was tested, along with a mobile hydrogen refuelling station;
• DHL ground handling equipment moved to electric alternatives;
• Skytanking designed and commissioned an electric hydrant dispenser vehicle;
• AIA rolled out electric vehicles and chargers.
• Digitisation of cargo activities is becoming a reality thanks to your efforts, with the eCMR, CargoRun and RFID projects;
• And, finally, our airports are more mobility hubs than ever, with the continuous development of the SAMP, and the digital multimodal journey planner.

We enjoyed workshops on objectives, where we entered discussion on how to best achieve them, and attended a keynote from hockey Olympic gold medallist Felix Denayer on how a team makes it possible to achieve more, by using everyone’s strengths.

We are already looking forward to the next occasion to meet again!
